my experience in hwa chong
I am clarence tan of 1I3 and i have just started blogging, so please bear with me if i make any mistakes or if my post sounds a bit odd.
When i came into Hwa Chong, my first impression was that, it was so big, i even lost my way on the first day of orientation. I ended up in the international school instead. fortunately, one of the students there gave me directions to the clock tower.we had cheer practice and ice breakers. On the second day, we had our EP3 orientation.i could not believe i had forgotten to wear my PE shorts! the trials ended in failure. On the third day, we had to play games to get materials to build a structure that represent hwa chong. we, group 13 had ended up building a leaning clock tower. Our buddies told us to enjoy the orientation but i could not understand why should we enjoy cheering and shouting.
On the first day of school, we had icebreakers again and finally met our form teacher, mr Low. Our class greeted him and threw questions at him. he was quite humourous. Then, we had recess. I quickly ran to the western food stall before the queue formed. Overall, my experience in hwa chong was quite enjoyable. However, our buddies were right to say that orientation is more enjoyable than school, this proved it. On the third day of school, we were given six worksheets that were needed to be handed in on the next two days.
