personal response (Chapter 22 to 31)

i believe that the ending of this story is predictable as Bob Ewell has a short-temper and does not forget bad things easily. Due to the fact that Atticus had convinced the Maycomb community to believe that the Ewell family had wronged Tom Robinson. This caused Bob Ewell to bear a grudge against Atticus. Bob Ewell thought that Jem and Scout was Atticus, thus he attacked them. Unfortunately, he killed himself accidentally. I believe that the ending is very realistic as after all, Someone commits a crime would have to pay for it eventually, which in this case, is death as the punishment
